Magnesium Trisilicate is a common antacid drug that is used for the treatment of gastro esophageal reflux. It is also used as antioxidant, decolorizing agent and industrial odor absorbent. Magnesium Trisilicate has a variable composition corresponding approximately to Mg2Si3O8,xH2O.
